TOWER MINT under THE KING [1625-42]. Group III, type 3a1, mm.tun.(1636-8). The obverse mint mark may be an over mark. Ex:- Middleham Hoard; Alan Morris (bgt.Ivan Buck 1/97).
Weak in the centres but struck on a well spread flan and with excellent detail of both the horses and Kings faces.
VERY FINE and better.
