TRURO MINT (1642-3). Trotting horse / oblong shield with C R at sides. Ex:- Marshan (609); Naish; Lingford? (bgt.Seaby 1946); Alan Morris.
Much as struck with legend flat between 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock and correspondingly on the reverse, parts of the shield and horse soft but still a most attractive piece with some extremely sharp details.
