TOWER MINT under THE KING (1625-42), Group II, second horseman, type 2/1b, plume over shield (Welsh silver), mm.plume (1630-1). Ex:- Ryan, 1952, lot 1089; Carlyon-Britton (Seaby's Bulletin, Jan.1962, no.Y136); Brooker 296 (bgt.Spink, 18/1/62).
Excessively rare, type 2/16 mules are extremely rare anyway but with this mint mark, there is only one other known.
