EXETER MINT (1643-6). Round shield with eight even scrolls. Besly J12 (no pellets on the pyramids between the scrolls). There are only three examples known of J12:- this piece, the Brooker coin and the recently sold example, HC1989-1896, on our website.
A little light (clipped?) but very sharp centres.
