BRIOT'S HAMMERED ISSUE (1638-9), Tower, group F, obv.type 4.4 (S2799) / reverse as Briot's 2nd issue. mm.triangle, over anchor on the reverse, harp with cleft foot. Ex:- Alan Morris (bgt.Midland Coin Fair).
Stretch marks on obverse and unevenly coloured, otherwise a clear example of this rare issue.
